Blue Moon – EL

“Blue Moon – EL” is a work of art by the artist Chau Ming Beck, based on her original work “Blue Moon – OL” enhanced. This work shows a wonderful visual effect, making us feel the interaction and dialogue between the moon and the glass. Are we looking at the moon through colored glass, or is the colored moon looking at us? This is an interesting question, and a philosophical one. The moon is the most mysterious and romantic symbol in nature, representing dreams, emotions, changes and cycles. Glass is a material created by humans, with the characteristics of transparency, refraction, reflection and deformation. It can change the way we see the world. What kind of sparks will be generated when the moon and glass meet? In this work, the moon appears in a sea blue color, as if it is a huge moonstone, emitting a soft and mysterious light.
