“Blue Moon – OL” is an original work by artist Chau Ming Beck, this work shows her deep understanding and unique integration of Eastern and Western cultures, using Western artistic techniques, such as perspective, light and shade, color, etc., while retaining the artistic conception of Eastern art, such as ethereal, implied, emotional, etc. The artistic vision of the picture is an exaggerated blue moon, reflecting the plum blossom tree, whose trunk is glowing with a faint blue light under the moonlight. Countless white plum blossoms also shine like stars in the moonlight.
